Intercity are committed to safety our Health & Safety manager is dedicated to providing comprehensive risk and method statements specific to each project no matter how small or large.
It is all our responsibility to promote a safe working environment at all levels of work towards zero incidents.
Regular safety visits and audits are carried out by our safety managers. Tool box talks are given at regular intervals and we encourage the input of our operatives as we endeavour to keep our sites safe. We acknowledge that we all have a role to play in improving safety. This remains ongoing.
All of our operatives are CSCS trained and/or are working towards NVQ Blue Card level.
OUR ACCREDITATIONS
As well as our relevant health and safety endorsements, we also have a range of accreditations which we have earned over the years. This enables us to offer peace of mind to our clients that their work is being carried out by a reputable company.
Constructionline Gold Member
Our Constructionline Gold Membership allows us to meet industry standards such as PAS 91 boosting our reputation as a trusted supplier. A SSIP certificate is also included removing the need for us to be assessed by multiple health and safety schemes.
Nullifire Certification
We are a Nullifire certified installer using their range of intumescent paints and coatings. Your fire protection coatings will be installed by a highly experienced and qualified team.
Construction Skills Certification Scheme
Construction Skills Certification Scheme demonstrates the people working on your job have the relevant training and qualifications needed. A CITB health and safety test is also completed as part of this certification scheme.

Intercity Contractors are proud to be part of the Institute Of Professional Shotblasters, an industry recognised authority on media blasting.
City & Guilds Training
We are partnered with City & Guilds to provide training to all of our staff to ensure the highest quality of work is carried out on every job. Our team is highly qualified and able to carry out any shot blasting or industrial painting job.
