Intercity was established in 2009, by our CEO Andrew Marshall as a family business. Since then the business has grown into a thriving company employing specialists in numerous industry disciplines, but we have never lost that customer centric attention and desire to deliver service excellence.

Meet The Senior Team

Behind every successful company is a team of people dedicated to delivering the best service possible. Our senior team champion this mindset and are always available as required.

Andrew Marshall – Company Director

Director and founder, Andrew has been at the forefront and behind the scenes of the business since 1997. Andrew is an expert in the removal and application of protective coatings.

Jacob Marshall – Senior Manager

A family business – Andrew’s son Jacob joined the Intercity team in 2016 after completing an education in Business Management. Primarily office-based, Jacob is head of administrative duties within the company.

Marius Iureanu – Site Works Supervisor

A professional contractor with over 15 years shot blasting and industrial painting experience, Marius is a skilled operative head of our on-site supervision.

Paul Harvey – Site Works Supervisor

Paul boasts over 30 years shot blasting and industrial painting experience. His professional knowledge within the industry is paramount.

Haley Gillies – Office Administrator

Behind every successful company are dedicated staff like Haley. Haley has displayed model customer service, sales and administration skills since 2018.

Mary Marshall – Junior Office Administrator

Mary has recently joined the team on a part-time basis as a Junior Office Administrator whilst continuing in education.

We had Intercity prep and paint our classic car workshop floor in a hard-wearing epoxy resin paint. We opted for a deep red colour as Intercity could provide almost any finish of our choice. The surface is great for dealing with coolant spillages and oils, and still looks as good as it did the day it was painted all these years on.

Andy and his team at Intercity managed to squeeze in our HGV workshop over a weekend as it was the only time it wasn’t in constant use. The new grey floor really brings the workshop up to standard and the contrasting yellow markings help distinguish different areas.

Having been the same paint since the 1980s, our single-garage floor was starting to look quite tatty. We had Intercity out to freshen the garage up with a new coat of epoxy paint that is much more suitable than the old paint. Now I don’t have to worry about wheeling my toolboxes around on this new durable coating.
