The existing workshop floor required careful preparation before the new coating system could be applied. Our team carried out a combination of captive dust-free blasting and diamond grinding to prepare the surface and provide the correct substrate for the new floor coating.
Surface Preparation & Floor Coating
Following preparation, a primer was applied to the floor before the application of the main top coat. The completed surface provides a hard-wearing, easy-to-maintain finish designed for the demands of an operational automotive workshop.
Contrasting line markings and designated working areas were then incorporated into the finished floor, helping to clearly define vehicle routes, workshop bays and operational areas while providing the smart appearance expected within an Audi facility.
