Car Park Floor Painting at Westfield Shopping Centre
Intercity Contractors completed a specialist floor painting project for the SEAT dealership car park at Westfield Shopping Centre in Central London. The project required a durable new floor finish together with a distinctive three-colour design incorporating grey, red and white areas.
Working within an operational commercial environment also required careful planning. The work was completed through the night to minimise disruption and allow the project to progress around the requirements of the site.
Surface Preparation & Diamond Grinding
Correct preparation was an important part of the project. The existing floor was prepared using diamond grinding before the new coating system was applied.
Following preparation, two coats of red paint were applied, followed by two coats of white to the designated areas. The contrasting dark grey, red and white finish created clearly defined areas while providing the clean, professional appearance required for the SEAT environment.
